Introduction

Lalit Kala Campus is the first college for fine arts in Nepal which was established in 1934 AD. Students had no option and had to travel to India for taking higher level education in fine arts, and for that reason, Lalit Kala Campus was established. It is conducting bachelor in fine art under the Tribhuvan University (TU).  It offers ­Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA – Music, Tabala, Dance, Painitng, Sculpture and Graphic Communication). Lalit Kala Campus is located at Bhotahity, Kathmandu, Nepal. This course falls under the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The total time required by the students to complete this course is 4 years.

The Branch of Arts offers its students mainly focusing on training in the visual expressions for far reaching education experience. The aim of this course is to develop the student’s creative potential and the artistic factor in them .
